Unlike the red and blue polarizing lenses you may have used in the past, these new glasses are made from precision micro-optic lenses that combine diffractive and refractive effects. The glasses act like prisms, shifting the colors and by refracting at different angles according to their wavelength. This creates the illusion of depth by changing the angles of light perceived by the eye. High-contrast pictures, computer graphics, T.V. images, or laser light shows work best.
