Additional Details

Investigating the properties of acids and bases is fundamental to understanding the basics of Chemistry and Earth Science. Experimentation with provided samples and pH indicators will guide students to an understanding of hydrogen and hydroxide ions and how they relate to the pH scale. With this accumulated knowledge, students will proceed to identify four clear solutions.
Through this process, students not only gain a deeper understanding of the pH scale and its significance but also develop essential laboratory skills such as measurement, observation, and data analysis.
