Demonstrate storage of electrical charges!
Leyden Jars were the first functioning capacitors and were used in many early experiments with electricity. Your students can repeat the experiments with this affordable jar. It's simple to use. The inner and outer metal conductors are separated by a plastic insulator cup. Charge the aluminum terminal with a Van de Graaff Generator or Wimshurst Machine, and take the jar apart. The charge will then be stored on the metal conductors and the plastic dielectric. When the conductors are replaced the charge is transferred back to them. 3 piece set. Instructions provided. 3" diameter and 5 3/4" overall height.
